The pieces which Joely creates are a spiritual and expressive celebration of the beautiful and diverse groups of humans who make up the landscape of our city. They express life, community and colour.

Drawings, scribblings on paper and colour tests using clay and underglaze form the basis of her making process and are captured in final 3D forms, which then inhabit and interrupt the constructed and often controlled city spaces which are built up around us.
